The lilac tree can be found in almost every garden, near private houses, in parks and just on the streets of cities. Lilac varieties in the photo differ in color, shape, degree of terry inflorescences. By international classification white, violet, bluish, lilac, pinkish, magenta, purple lilac stands out.

Among white varieties the most common are "Beauty of Moscow", "Alice Harding", "Prim Roses", "Madame Abel Chatenay", "Madame Casimir Perrier", "Monique Lemoine". Some purple varieties: "Monique Lemoine", "Cosmos", "Dream", "Maksimovich". Of bluish note "Ami Shot", "Madame Charles Suchet", "Dresden China". Lilac varietiesare, of course, the most numerous. Let's name only varieties of Russian selection: "Poltava", "Partizanka", "Taras Bulba", "Leonid Leonov", "Russian song". Pinkish varieties there are not so often, but there are also many of them: "Great Victory", "Polina Osipenko", "Mirabeau" and others. Magenta varieties lilacs are purple-lilac in color and highly decorative, they have large drooping inflorescences. This group includes "Congo", "Reaumur", "President Poincare", "Captain Gastello". Purple lilacs not so many have been bred, they are considered the most beautiful, for example, "Ludwig Shpet", "Aleksey Maresyev", "Zarya kommunizma".

No matter how the varieties of lilac look in the photo, caring for them you need the same. This is loosening the soil around the tree, forming a pruning. The tree does not really need watering, but if you water it in the spring, it will thank you with more lush flowering. Organic fertilizing is done before winter, and mineral fertilizers are used in spring and summer.
