Sanding:

The sanding is practiced on the wood already treated previously, therefore already polished, or stripped. Through this practice, any imperfection or residue that may have remained on the wood is raised. A first vigorous sanding can be done using a special tool, with a fairly coarse abrasive paper, in order to remove any residual material and any very obvious deburring. We try to pass the tool over the entire surface of the wood, maintaining an equal pressure for each area, so as to avoid unevenness. At the end of the sanding with a tool, we use a fine-grain abrasive paper to finish the wood manually; with our hands we try to press evenly on the wood, and avoid overdoing it with pressure.
