After having pruned our future bonsai we observe its shape, to decide what kind of direction to give to the branches; in this case the presence of two main branches allows us to sacrifice one to let the other develop as the main stem. Then we remove the branching that we consider superfluous, we can operate using a saw; leaving a good length of stump we can then bark it to obtain a jin wood working over the years. To better set the small size branches, we apply thin metal wire; we twist the thread around the twigs, in a spiral that is not too narrow, to avoid ruining the bark. Once the wire is applied we can direct the branches as we prefer, bending them gently.
